From sign-up to a live company profile.
Propa HR is self-serve. Here is the full journey, step by step, so you know exactly what happens after you create your account.
Five steps to a working HR system.
Each step unlocks the next, and you can stop and resume at any point — Propa remembers where you left off.
STEP 01
Create your account
Sign up with your work email and a password. If your company is already on Propa, ask your administrator to invite you instead.
- Work email and password, or continue with Google
- Confirm the email we send you
- No card required to set up
STEP 02
Set up your company profile
A short guided setup captures who you are as a business — the details that make payroll, compliance and reporting correct from day one.
- Company name, RC number, industry and addresses
- Departments, locations and reporting lines
- Pay cycle, currency and statutory details
- Leave year, public holidays and working days
STEP 03
Add your people
Bring your team in one by one or upload a spreadsheet. Each person gets a single record that carries their history forward.
- Bulk upload from a spreadsheet template
- Salaries, start dates, job titles and managers
- Invite colleagues and set their access level
- Employees get self-service for payslips and requests
STEP 04
Run your first payroll
Propa calculates PAYE, pension, NHF and NSITF, flags anything unusual, and waits for your approval before anything is committed.
- Review a full breakdown before approving
- Exceptions and anomalies highlighted for you
- Payslips issued automatically after approval
- Records kept audit-ready with a permanent trail
STEP 05
Switch on the daily rhythm
Leave, attendance, performance and compliance reminders start running, and Ask Propa answers questions about your live workspace.
- Leave policies, balances and approval routes
- Attendance, timesheets and availability
- Compliance calendar with deadline reminders
- Ask Propa for plain-language answers any time
When you are ready to hire, four more steps.
FitHire sits inside your workspace. Once your company profile exists, hiring follows the same guided path.
- 01
Get your organisation verified
Confirm a work email on your company domain for instant approval, or upload your registration document and ID for manual review.
- 02
Capture your organisation DNA
You and a few colleagues answer honestly about how work really happens here. Multiple raters keep the picture truthful.
- 03
Define the role blueprint
Set what the role truly demands — must-haves, weighted strengths and preferences — before anyone is assessed.
- 04
Publish and decide on evidence
Candidates apply and sit real Nigerian work scenarios. You get an explainable fit report, and the final decision stays yours.

Common questions.
Do I need a demo before I can start?
No. You can create your account and set up your company profile immediately. A demo is optional if you would rather be guided through it live.
What do I need before I begin?
Your company name and address, your RC number if registered, a list of employees with salaries and start dates, and your pension and tax details if you already have them.
How long does setup take?
Creating the workspace takes a few minutes. Most companies complete the full profile — people, pay structure and policies — within a day.
Can I add colleagues to help set it up?
Yes. Invite them from Settings once your workspace exists and give each person the access level that fits their role.
What if my company is small and has no work email?
You can still hire through FitHire using a regular email — upload your business registration document and a representative ID, and our team reviews and approves it.
